We are a group of social researchers, documentary makers and storytellers committed to recognizing migrant chilldren and youth as fundamental actors of contemporary migration. We are convinced of the urgency of creating new critical narratives that recognize their valueable knowledge and experiences, as well as their daily struggles. We stand by their right to migrate and their pursuit of a better future.

Immigration Initiative at Harvard (IIH)
The Immigration Initiative at Harvard (IIH) advances interdisciplinary scholarship, original research, and intellectual exchange on issues related to immigrant origin children—the fastest growing child and youth population in our country (currently, comprising 26% of children and 33% of all young adults).

Colorín Colorado
Colorín Colorado is a national multimedia project that offers a wealth of bilingual, research-based information, activities, and advice for educators and families of English language learners (ELLs).

Initiative on Immigration and Education
The City University of New York – Initiative on Immigration and Education (CUNY-IIE) aims to develop multimodal resources that center the strengths of immigrant communities that include undocumented, refugee, and asylum-seeking members. At CUNY-IIE, educators, researchers, and local leaders work together to learn about, from, and with immigrant communities, act in ways that center our shared humanity regardless of legal status, and advocate for equitable educational policies for all, regardless of immigration status.
